Public parking (cars)

Public parking is available 24/7 in the "expo Parking" parking garage (P8). During larger events, additional parking spaces are available on the Kleine Allmend (P5, P6) and/or on Wölflistrasse (P17). The Wankdorf Center Parking is not an official exhibition parking lot.

Are there disabled parking spaces?

Yes, you will find 5 parking spaces for people with disabilities in the expo Parking:

UG 1: 3 parking spaces

UG 2: 2 parking spaces

There are also additional disabled parking spaces in the outdoor parking lots in P3 and on Tschäppätstrasse.

Are there charging stations for electric cars and e-bikes?

Two charging stations for electric vehicles can be found in the expo parking lot. There are also numerous public charging stations for electric cars in Bern.

There are currently no charging stations available for e-bikes.

Where do I park my motorcycle or bicycle?

On Papiermühlestrasse and Tschäppätstrasse you will find covered bicycle racks and parking spaces for two-wheelers.

Where do trucks park?

Trucks may only be parked in public parking spaces upon prior request: expoparking@bernexpo.ch

Are there parking spaces for Nightliner and VIP?

Nightliners can request a parking space with connections. We can also provide VIP parking with direct access to the venue and backstage.

Is there a maximum parking time?

The maximum parking time in the outdoor parking spaces is 24 hours.

Which vehicle types are permitted?

The maximum entrance height in the expo parking area is 2.10 meters. Trailers, motorcycles, and vehicles are not permitted.

Vehicles with trailers up to 5 meters and trucks up to 3.5 tons are permitted in the outdoor parking spaces.

Where can I find additional parking spaces?

During events, we provide up to 4,000 additional parking spaces within walking distance of the BERNEXPO site at P5, P6, and P17 – some with a shuttle bus to the exhibition grounds.

You can find additional parking garages in the surrounding area and in the city of Bern at Bern Parking.
